Fantasy Football Rankings Flip Flop in 2017

The hosts of Fantasy Footballers evaluated Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant’s potential for ranking WR1 for the 2017 season.

Martavis Bryant had a rocky start during the 2014 season. Because of an unimpressive performance in training camp and a sprain A/C, Bryant sat out the first 6 games. However, he became a fantasy favorite once he hit the field. 2015 pre-season was a bit of repeat of 2014. Bryant drug test fail and plaguing injuries put him on the bench until the 6th week. Once on the field, he scored 2 TDs and raked in 124 yards. By the end of the season, Bryant totaled a hefty 1,027 yards and 6 TD. The Fantasy Footballers concluded that Martavis Bryant will be highly sought after in the 2017 draft and may be considered a WR1 pick.

As far as points per reception rankings, wide receivers typically rank number one. But this year, running backs have claimed the top spot. David Johnson, Le’Veon Bell, and Ezekiel Elliott are first round picks. Ranking in the first position for quarterback are Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Tom Brady. Rookie rankings for the 2017-2018 year have Jacksonville RB, Leonard Fournette positioned at #1 and Tennessee WD, Corey Davis at #2.
