Almost everyone has seen the promos for WEN by Chaz Dean at one point in their lives. The infomercials where gorgeous women are shaking their hair and swearing that indeed the cleansing conditioner is magic inside a bottle. As a hair care fanatic, I needed to affirm if this product was indeed capable of doing wonders as advertised. To separate facts and fiction I decided to apply WEN Cleansing Conditioner and see if it had the ability to transform my thin hair into the luscious strands displayed on TV.
Just in case you haven’t yet heard of WEN cleansing conditioners, the products are basically an all-in-one shampoo, styling treatment, and conditioner. According to the TotalBeauty’s website, these products are able to work wonders for any type of hair based on the formulation that one tries. I went for the Fig version as it was promising to provide moisture, shine, and bounce to my hair.
Despite the few rumors from Facebook that some negative side effects were likely to occur from using this product, I was still ready to take the chances.
Though it made my hair to appear awesome, my strands tended to become oily whenever I skipped a day between washes. However, I will still reach for the conditioner any day I want some shine on my hair.
